Honoring a Legacy:
This year’s event will include a special tribute to Father Boniface Hardin and Sister Jane Schilling, whose vision, courage, and commitment to educational equity transformed countless lives throughout Indianapolis. As founders of Martin University, they created opportunities for students who were often overlooked and inspired generations to pursue education, service, and leadership. Though Martin University has closed its doors, the impact of Father Hardin and Sister Schilling continues to live on through the lives they touched, the leaders they inspired, and the communities they helped strengthen. This tribute is not a fundraiser for Martin University. It is a celebration of two remarkable individuals whose legacy remains deeply connected to Indianapolis and the Near Northwest community.
